Features of 41022 Chunmee Green Tea
The Signature "Eyebrow" Shape
One of the most defining traits of 41022 Chunmee is its unique leaf morphology. The tea leaves are small, tightly rolled, and curved into a shape resembling an eyebrow—hence the name "Chunmee," which translates to “precious eyebrows” in Chinese.
Taste
Unlike many delicate green teas, 41022 Chunmee offers a surprisingly robust and complex taste. It features a light yet assertive flavor with a slightly tangy brightness, balanced by a subtle natural sweetness and a smooth, lingering bitterness that enhances depth without being harsh.
Aroma
The fragrance of 41022 Chunmee is as distinctive as its taste. When dry, the tea emits a fresh, grassy, or vegetal aroma reminiscent of steamed greens or fresh-cut herbs. Upon brewing, subtle fruity undertones—often described as apricot or plum-like—emerge, adding complexity to the bouquet.
Health Benefits
41022 Chunmee is not only prized for its taste but also valued for its numerous health benefits. Regular consumption may contribute to improved metabolism, aiding in weight management, and support immune function.
Tea bag Application
Green tea powder can be directly used in tea bags, which are then mechanically packaged into convenient tea bags.
Bubble tea Application
It can be used as a tea ingredient for Pearl Milk Tea in the catering and beverage industry for its popularity, innovative applications or its health and nutritional benefits.
Fruit tea Application
Our teas can be used as un-tea ingredients blending the sweet and sour taste of fruit with the freshness of tea.
Iced tea Application
It can be used as a source of ingredients for iced tea and as a beverage option for point-of-sale gatherings at restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, and more.
Tea Extract Application
It can be used as the raw material of tea extract, which can be applied in many fields such as food, beverage, cosmetic, medicine, health care products and so on.
Proper brewing is essential to unlock the full flavor and health benefits of 41022 Chunmee. Unlike black teas, green teas are sensitive to high temperatures, which can scorch the leaves and result in bitterness.
Recommended water temperature: 75–80°C (167–176°F) to preserve delicate flavors and nutrients.
Steeping time: 2–3 minutes for optimal balance of flavor and astringency.
Leaf-to-water ratio: Approximately 2 grams of tea per 200 ml (7 oz) of water. Multiple infusions are possible—high-quality Chunmee can yield 2–3 flavorful steeps with slight increases in steeping time.
Brewing secret: Pre-warming the teapot or cup helps maintain consistent water temperature and enhances aroma release.

Manufacturing Process
Harvesting
We select the optimal time to harvest tender tea leaves, picking only the bud and the first two leaves to ensure consistent tea quality. The tea leaves are usually processed immediately after harvesting to maintain their freshness and quality.
Frying / Steaming
At this stage, high temperature is applied to stop oxidation in the tea leaves. This process deactivates the enzymes and helps preserve the natural chlorophyll in the leaves, allowing the tea to retain its bright green color when brewed.
Rolling
Rolling affects the final appearance of the tea. During this process, the tea leaves are rolled and slightly crushed by about 30–35% to meet the required standard. Compared with traditional methods, modern rolling machines can apply consistent pressure to ensure uniform shaping.
Drying / Shaping
After rolling, the tea goes through a drying process. The drying machine reduces the moisture content to about 3–5%, which helps extend the shelf life and makes the leaves crisp. Drying also enhances the aroma of the tea and contributes to its characteristic flavor.
Sorting
The semi-finished tea is put through a grading machine and divided into different grades. This is an important step for controlling and maintaining consistent tea quality throughout the production process.
Upgrading
Depending on quality requirements, our tea masters in the factory may adjust the processing steps and even repeat certain stages several times. Before packaging, some teas may undergo additional sorting or further processing to enhance their aroma and appearance.
Packing
The tea is often packed in PP or PE bags for storage or transported to our main packaging facility. We can also pack the tea in various types of packaging such as kraft bags, cartons, aluminum foil bags, or other customized packaging according to the client’s requirements.
